The Alliance to Protect Delaware’s Future is a 501(c)(4) coalition of stakeholders united around a shared goal: strengthening the state’s economy, preserving its competitive advantages, and enhancing quality of life for all Delawareans.

The Alliance advocates for common sense economic policies and goals that help make Delaware a great state to live, work, and raise a family. It supports an affordability agenda that lowers taxes and cuts utility costs, policy that provides access to affordable healthcare coverage, and fully funds our public education system.

A healthy business climate is central to that mission. Delaware’s corporate franchise and related business revenues are a cornerstone of the state’s economy, contributing roughly 25 to 30 percent of the General Fund that helps support the things that make Delaware’s economy livable. This revenue supports essential public services, including education, public safety, and infrastructure.  Protecting and modernizing this broader economic ecosystem helps ensure that Delaware remains a premier place to start and grow businesses and a reliable partner for workers and families.

Alliance members are part of that ecosystem and represent a coalition of Delaware organizations that serve a diverse cross section of industries and sectors who together support thousands of Delaware jobs across law, finance, technology, and other professions. They also invest deeply in the community through pro bono work, nonprofit board service, and volunteer efforts that strengthen civic life across the state.
